Firefox has partnered with adMarketplace to sponsored links to its users in the suggestions based on keywords you type in the address bar. The latest Firefox browser(93.0) update will offer content from partners based on the search queries.
These days all the web browsers are filled with ads on every page, and these additional ads in the address bar will make every Firefox user upset. Mozilla is calling these sponsored ads as feature Firefox Suggest.
These sponsored ads suggestion won’t be enabled automatically when we update Firefox to it’s the latest version they will ask you by sending a message notification to enable Firefox Suggest when the user click on “Allow Suggestion” then the sponsored suggestion will appear on the address bar.
Follow these steps to disable sponsored suggestions on Firefox
Step 1: Click the “menu button” on the top in the Firefox browser.
Step 2: Click on Settings-> Privacy and Security.
Step 3: Scroll down to “Address Bar Options” and click on the “Firefox Suggest” section.
Step 4: To disable or to enable sponsored Ads, deselect or select the checkbox next to Contextual suggestions.
